Travel Nurse Job Details

- End Date: December 6, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,830 - $3,030
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active California RN License (Registered Nurse License in California required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (within the last 2 years)
- Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years
- Preferred: High Risk OB experience
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk obstetric cases
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout all stages of labor and delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, manage emergency situations, and provide clinical support as needed
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
